Arizona crushes #2 Louisville 45-7 for first ever national title

Miami, FL - They did it! Arizona did it. They finally get a football national championship to raise on Campus.

The game was a complete domination, in the pouring rain of a Miami January, Willie Tuitama stayed calm and collected and guided the balanaced Wildcats to a national title. Xavier Smith had a huge game, and the defense completely shut down Heisman trophy winner Scott Long, holding him to 1 catch for 7 yards.

Willie Tuitama walks away as the All Time Leader in passing yards, and passing TDs at the University.

Other noteworthy season wrap ups:
1. Pat White sets the all time QB Rating, taking it away from J. Booty

The Wildcats are going to lose a lot this year, and it will be tough for them next year, but coach Stoops has resigned and has last year's amazing draft class ready to go.

Since Willie Tuitama is leaving after 4 amazing years in Tucson, here are his final stats:
166.2 QB Rating
433/735
8521 yards
83 TDs
59 INTs *ouch*
sacked 73 Times.

Arizona's returning QBs (Tyler Lyon and Travis Andrews) total 33 completions on 62 passes with 3 TDs....it will be interesting next year...

Mike Thomas is graduating after a career where he:
made 94 receptions
2270 yards
25 TDs

Stay tuned for the offseason update coming up in the next post.
